All For Erica at Christmas Read online

Page 7

“Thirty days in lock up and a year of probation aren’t nearly enough if you ask me. He’s a predator. He’s just trying to wear you down and make you feel sorry for him. This can’t be allowed to continue.”

“I know you’re right Erica. Calm down, I’ll talk to Colt okay? I don’t want you stressing out little nugget.”

I rub my nonexistent bump and smile wide. Colt and I found out a few weeks ago that I was pregnant, and we couldn’t be happier about the news. We were married on New Year’s Eve in an intimate ceremony. Colt was so handsome in his service dress. I wore a white, sleeveless, empire-waisted dress with a full skirt. It was my dream dress. At the end of the day, being his wife was all that mattered.

I moved into our home completely the day after Christmas. Colt was able to get his cousins Rich and Joe to move all my stuff. They even hosted our small wedding reception in a back room at Spice. The food was so damn good and worth the wait. I’m happy we’re family because I might be stopping by at least once a week to grab dinner.

Christmas morning Colt woke me up and dragged me half-awake to one of the many spare rooms we have. I didn’t know what to expect, but when he opened the door to an art studio, I was stunned. If Colt’s at work, there’s a good chance you’ll find me in there. I didn’t have the heart to tell Colt or his family, our family, that I hadn’t picked up a piece of charcoal since Jacob died. Art was a big part of my life when I was younger, but as the people in my life started to disappear, it was hard to put my heart into something that made used to make me so happy.

Colt helped me realize that I can be happy again. I now find happiness in the little things. I will always love and miss my family, but my family has grown, and I’m blessed beyond measure to have them in my life.

“Earth to Erica. Where’d you go there hon?”

“Oh, sorry Gem. What were you saying?”

She just laughs and says “Never mind. I’ll see you later. I guess I have to go down to the station and let Colt know what’s going on.”

“I’m proud of you Gem. It’s the right thing to do for everyone, most importantly you.”

“Thanks. I better go and get this over with.”

After Gemma leaves, I lock the door and go to bed early. Colt won’t be home until nine, and I have been so tired lately. I fall asleep quickly. A few hours later I’m woken by Colt sliding in bed behind me.

“Hi,” I say after he kisses me thoroughly. “I made baked ziti for dinner, you must be starving.” When I start to get out of bed, he pulls me back in.

“It’ll keep. I missed you all day. Daddy needs some loving.”

He whips my tank top over my head and has my yoga pants on the floor in seconds. This isn’t going to be sweet. It’s going to be hard and fast. It’s then that I notice he’s already naked and hard for me.

“I missed you too Daddy. So much.” I grip his length and stroke him from root to tip. A bead of precum forms on the head and I use my index finger of my other hand to clean it off. I bring it to my lips, and lick it clean, and I moan at the taste of him.

“Jesus, fucking Christ Erica. Are you trying to kill me?” He growls.

“No Daddy. I like driving you crazy. I want to be a good girl for you.”

“Damn baby. I’m going to ruin you.”

I can only nod as he moves over me and I spread my thighs wide. He lines himself up with my opening and teases me with just his tip.

“Take me, Daddy. Fill my already full womb with your seed.”

He surges forward, hammering into me relentlessly. “I thought your pussy felt like heaven before you were pregnant. Now though, I can’t keep myself out of your tight cunt. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

“Thank god. This is the only place I need you right now.” I reach between us when my orgasm nears and strum my clit in rhythm to his thrusts. In less than a minute I’m coming, Colt following close behind, extending my orgasm.

The moment Colt pulls out of me he rolls over on his back, and he snuggles me into his chest, kissing the top of my head. I lay there rubbing his chest knowing something is laying heavy on his mind. We’re silent for a few minutes before he begins.

“Sorry baby girl. I didn’t mean for that to be so fast. I needed to be inside you in the worst way after the night I’ve had. The only thing I could see was being inside you. You’re my home baby, the only place I feel whole.”

“You want to talk about it?” I draw designs over his chest while he decides what he wants to say.

Blowing out a big breath he gets it all out. “Gemma came to talk to me this afternoon. She told me you told her to come see me. Thank you for that. Erica, Zahn is going to be a problem, but legally there’s nothing I can do. If I do what I want, I’ll lose the department. I’m not willing to give that up.”

“We’ll figure something out Colt. Until then we’ll keep an eye on Gemma.”

He rolls us so I’m laying on my back and he’s looming over me.

“I’ll keep an eye on Gem. You, my love, will keep an eye on this little one.” He says while rubbing my belly. He leans down and kisses me soundly.

“I can do that. Thank you, Colt. Thank you for giving me everything I needed. I love you.”

“I love you too baby girl.”

  Epilogue 2

  Five years later

  Colt

As I carry my oldest son Jacob to bed after falling asleep watching Christmas movies, I realize, as I often do, how complete my life has been the last five years. Laying him in his Star Wars themed bed, I tuck him in and shut his door. I peek into the nursery at our two-year-old, Desiree. She’s been sound asleep since seven thirty. I find Erica in the kitchen wiping off the counter. I come up behind her and kiss her neck.

“Baby, they’re both asleep. Let’s go to bed early.”

“Okay, Daddy.” She tosses the sponge into the sink and turns to me. I lift her into my arms, and she wraps her legs around my waist.

“You are the best gift I’ve ever had, Erica. I love you more and more every day.”

“I love you too Colten, so fucking much. I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I have something to tell you.” She says rubbing her belly.

“Thank fuck baby. It took longer this time around, but I’m so happy our family is growing.”

“Love me. I can’t make it to our room.” I deposit her on the counter and rip the tiny shorts from her body. Her pussy is glistening, and my cock is hard. I pull my sweats down along with my boxers and slam into her soaked pussy.

“I love you, Erica. You’ve made me so fucking happy. The next fifty years are only going to get better.”

“I know Daddy. I love you too. Please move.” She moans.

When my goddess calls me Daddy, I feel like the best man in the world. I wouldn’t be living if it weren’t for her love and the life we created together.

  His Sweet Treat Excerpt

  One

  Emersen

You got this Emersen. Walk in there, find Chelsea, and everything will be okay. I hope. The truth is, things haven’t been okay between Chelsea and me for a while now. In college, we had been complete opposites, but I thought we balanced each other well. Her outgoing personality and my quiet one worked when we roomed together.

We graduated about six months ago, and we haven’t seen each other much. We stopped talking and hanging out altogether about a month after graduation. Chelsea surprised me when she called me last week and invited me to a costume party on Halloween at a bar she is working at.

I almost didn't come, but my interest won out. Where has she been? My hand hovers over the handle to the vibrating door. I’m about to walk away when the man at the door interrupts my inner battle.

“You going in, or what?” The man is well over six feet and built to cause damage. He’s got a black leather vest on with Steel Daggers on one side and Sergeant At Arms on the other. Judging by the look he’s giving me, I doubt the man is wearing a costume.

I look down at my costume that I had so much fun picking out and smile. I remember when I was a little girl and my momma would take me trick or treating. We used to have so much fun for those few uninterrupted hours. I loved getting to play dress up with momma and spending time with her. Stew didn’t like going trick or treating with us. So, one day a year we could be together not worrying about my stepfather.

“Look, babe, it’s in or out. If you aren’t coming in, you need to leave.”

  “Do you know Chelsea?”

He quirks an eyebrow at me but stays silent. There's something there, recognition maybe?

  “Right. Okay, going in then.”

He opens the door for me, and as soon as I walk in, I immediately know this is a mistake. The people closest to the door stop talking and stare. Yep. I’d stare too if I were them. I look around the entire bar and see that no one is wearing a costume. In fact, most of the men I see are wearing leather vests like the guy outside. Am I in a biker bar? Chels didn’t say anything about it being a biker bar.

Not seeing Chelsea, I decide I can’t do this and turn around to leave without making a bigger ass of myself. Before I get to the door, I hear someone call my name. I look back and see her waving me over to where a group of women standing and staring. I really don’t want to go over there, but I do, for Chelsea.

I feel the eyes of everyone I pass and my skin begins to crawl at the awareness of being watched. I know they’re laughing at me. I hear their sarcastic comments about what I look like. Every step I take, I regret my choice to walk in here.

“Emersen. I can’t believe you came!” Chelsea yells over the music and hugs me quick.

  “Hey, Chels.”

She releases me and stumbles backward, but rights herself by grabbing onto my arm.

“Girls, this is my friend Emersen I told you about.”

They nod. Not ‘Hey, I’m so and so, nice to meet you.’ It’s basically a fuck off, in the form of a chin lift. Yep, my night is rocking. Not! I can’t believe she invited me to this and let me think it was a costume party when it apparently isn’t!

“Uh, Chels. Why am I the only person in here wearing a costume?”

She just laughs and shrugs. The girl is wasted. She can’t stand still, and her eyes are glazed over. Great, she’s going to be no help.

“Come on, let’s go get you some water,” I tell her, grabbing her hand, trying to pull her over to the bar.

“No, I love this song!” She screams and runs out into the crowd of people dancing.

“So, no costumes?” I ask the women standing near me. They eye me over but go back to their own conversations.

“Alrighty then.” Used to being ignored, I let the sting of their rebuff roll off my back. I need a drink if I’m going to stay for this, which I feel obligated to do now that my once best friend is here, out of her mind.

I push through the groups of people and eventually make it to the bar. The men sitting there staring at me, but quickly go back to their conversations.

“What can I get you doll?” The man behind the bar asks. He’s tall and is wearing a leather vest like everyone sitting here at the bar. He's younger than some of the guys in here but older than me. He’s in his late twenties maybe. He's got a kind face but looks like he's seen too much to be free from the pain of regret.

  “A shot of whiskey.”

“You got it.” He says, pouring it quickly and handing it over.

I grab it and shoot it quickly. Not used to the taste or the burn of it going down my throat, I shiver. I set the shot glass down on the bar, and the bartender laughs and asks if I want another. I hold up a finger, and he pours me one more, sliding it over to me.

  “Thank you.”

Still smiling, he nods and watches me take my second shot. This time the cool liquid goes down easier.

I’m wearing a black tutu with a black corset laced with ribbon down the back. The cherry on the top of my embarrassing sundae is the black wings attached to the corset. I wanted to be a dark fairy, but now I’m left feeling like an idiot.

  Brother-In-Law to Love Excerpt

  Prologue

  Brooke

Never did I think I would end up here. This is certainly not the life I dreamed about when I was younger. See, I am a 23-year-old happily married virgin. Before I get ahead of myself, I should clarify that my husband, Blake Spencer, is keeping a huge secret from the rest of the world. Blake has been my best friend since 9th grade. I have always known he was gay but for some reason, no one else ever picked up on it.

When we were 20, we got married. He was finally taking over his father’s company. His father passed away 15 years ago. The seat was held by an interim CEO who was prepping Blake to take over. He was advised that board wanted him to be “settled”. He took that to mean he should be married. Blake lucked out when his brothers didn’t want to be in charge. Since Robby is in the Army and Derek is a comic book

designer, they became silent partners with Blake.

I say that I am happily married because really it could be so much worse. I live a life of luxury. I run several charities that help domestic violence survivors. In fact, my assistant, Jason, is my husband’s boyfriend. We can get away with him coming on trips and such with us because I rely on him so heavily for work. They are totally in love and I must admit I am jealous. Not because my husband cheats on me because that is not what this is. I am jealous because I am head over heels in love with my brother-in-law, Derek. You see my despair here? It’s not like I can
do anything about it. I promised I would never out Blake. As much as I want Derek, I could never do that to Blake. Not that Derek would want me anyways. I just need to figure out how in the world I am going to get over him, without ever having been under him.

  Chapter One

  Kristy

  December 19, 2017

Oh Fuck, this can’t be happening! I think to myself as I look down at the little white stick with two pink lines on it. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” I'm practically screaming into my tiny bathroom mirror. Biting my nails, I start to pace the small room. I need to call Candy. No, I

can’t do that. She is going to flip her shit, then I am going to go into a full panic mode. I really do not have time to have a panic attack right now. I quickly throw away the pregnancy test and hop into the shower. I now have fifteen minutes to get ready and out the door so I'm not late. I'm surprised that I did not blind myself with the amount of shampoo I got in my eye as I take the fastest shower of my life. Blinking my eyes rapidly to stop the burning sensation, I grab a towel and I hurry into my room. Once there I go straight to my closet.

I grab my red long sleeve sweater dress and a pair of black leggings with my black fuzzy boots. I don't even bother putting on makeup seeing as I'm most likely going to puke my guts out at some point during the day. Like I’ve been doing every day for a week. I give my hair a quick brush and walk straight to the front door. Grabbing my keys and purse, I lock up and quickly walk straight to the tiny hatchback that Candy gave me and pray to God she starts.

Once I’m situated in the car, I drive to Grover Cleveland Elementary School, which is about seven minutes away from my apartment. I started my internship two and a half months ago and I can’t wait to be finished and graduated. I have worked my ass off to get my degree to become a teacher.
